I have had a lot of problems with acne and have read and tried more products than I want to admit to. This is what I know: One of the reasons you may be having problems is because most products that are sold for acne have a really high pH. When they remove the dirt and oils, they strip the skin of its protective layer and really dry it out. This sets up the skin to #1 produce more oils and #2 allows bacteria to enter your skin. Both of these can lead to more breakouts and cysts. I know of a really good product line for acne. If you are interested, let me know.Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne (Cream Cleanser)?
the cleanser could be causing your face to produce excess oil (since its drying your face out) which is causing your extra acne. This is generally why they say you have to adjust.. since your body needs to learn to re-regulate what it puts out.
I had same problem and switched to the Neutrogena light facial bar...something like that. Its very light and is starting to work, everything needs time..
